Premier League – Arsenal 2-1 Crystal Palace to lift the Champions League trophy

In the final round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Arsenal, playing away, defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 thanks to goals from Jesus and Maduk.

Four minutes into the match, Arsenal's attack was cleared, and Jesus regained possession before shooting, but the ball hit the post. Maduk followed up with a shot, but Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson made the save. In the 11th minute, Maduk played a long pass, Jesus received the ball and entered the penalty area, but his shot was blocked by Dean Henderson.

In the 15th minute, Crystal Palace attempted a counter-attack. Rio Cadines delivered a cross, and Daniel Muñoz's header was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa. In the 22nd minute, Maduk chipped a pass into the penalty area, and Jesus' header went wide of the post.

In the 36th minute, Maduk received a pass from Jesus and shot from the penalty area, but his shot was blocked by an opposing player. In the 42nd minute, Martinelli played a through ball into the penalty area, and Jesus, despite the defense, fired a low shot into the net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead.

In the 89th minute, Jeremy Pino chipped a pass into the penalty area, and Mateta headed the ball into the net, helping Crystal Palace pull one back to 1-2. In stoppage time of the second half, Crystal Palace's attack was cleared, and Jeremy Pino unleashed a powerful shot that found the back of the net, but the referee ruled that Guessan had been offside, thus disallowing the goal.

Arsenal ultimately defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 away from home. After the match, manager Mikel Arteta and his players were crowned champions and celebrated by lifting the trophy.
