Warriors re-sign guard Bojemski to a 5-year, $110 million contract

The Golden State Warriors have officially reached a rookie contract extension agreement with guard Brandin Pojemski. According to reports, the two sides signed a five-year, $110 million contract that will run until the 2031-32 season.

The contract includes a mutual option for a fifth year, at which point both parties can negotiate a new contract or terminate the partnership. The 23-year-old Pojemski is about to enter his fourth season in the NBA. Last season, he played all 82 regular-season games for the Warriors, making him the only player on the team to play every game, and one of only 18 players in the entire league to achieve this feat.

In an average of 28.5 minutes per game, Pojemski delivered 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.1 steals, with a field goal percentage of 45.5%, setting career highs in several categories.

Ahead of the preseason game against the Sacramento Kings, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr congratulated the team in an interview: "I'm happy for Brandin and his family; it's a win-win situation for both sides."

"Branding is an outstanding young player and an important part of our future. This contract also provides him with financial security and fits perfectly with the team's salary plan. Finalizing this before the start of the season allows him to focus wholeheartedly on his performance on the field."

General Manager Mike Dunleavy also praised him highly in an interview: "Branding has been making continuous progress since entering the league midway through the first round, and we firmly believe that his upward momentum will continue. He is consistent in his attendance, technically proficient, and good on both offense and defense, making the team better every time he takes the court."
