Juventus completes contract extension with Argentina international winger Nico González..

Juventus announced on their official website on Saturday that the club has extended the contract of its Argentina international winger, Nico González.

According to Juventus' official statement, González has signed on a new long-term four-year deal which runs until the summer of 2030.

About Nico González

The 28-year-old Nico González was born on April 6, 1998, in Belén de Escobar, Argentina. He is 1.8 meters tall and primarily plays as a right winger but can also play as a left winger or as a center-forward, and he holds dual Argentine and Italian citizenship.

González joined the Argentinos Juniors youth academy in 2005 and completed his first-team debut in August 2016. During which he won the Primera B Nacional title with the club.

In July 2018, González joined VfB Stuttgart for a fee of €11.5 million.

During his three-year spell with Die Schwabens, González experienced the team's ups and downs, witnessing both their relegation and subsequent promotion.

In July 2021, González moved to Fiorentina for €23.5 million.

During his three-year stint with I Viola, he helped the team reach the UEFA Europa Conference League final twice and the Coppa Italia final once.

In August 2024, González joined Juventus on-loan, with the option to buy officially triggered the following summer.

However, immediately after his rights were permanently acquired, he was loaned-out to Atlético Madrid on the 2025 summer transfer window summer deadline day.

While on loan at the La Liga giants, González helped Los Colchoneros reach the Copa del Rey final. 

Upon returning to the squad following the conclusion of his loan spell in the summer of 2026, González firmly established himself as a key starter for the Juventus first-team.

Since joining I Bianconeri, González has so far made 45 appearances for the Serie A giants across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
