Official: The Raptors have reached a contract extension agreement with General Manager and Executive Vice President Bobby Webster.

The Toronto Raptors have released an official statement confirming a multi-year contract extension with their long-serving general manager and executive vice president, Bobby Webster. Contract terms were not disclosed in accordance with team policy.

The 41-year-old Webster is about to begin his tenth season as general manager of the Raptors, and has also taken on the role of executive vice president. Since joining the Raptors' front office in June 2013, he has helped the team achieve a regular season record of 591 wins and 455 losses, and win the NBA championship in 2019.

Regarding the contract extension, Keith Paley, CEO of MLSE (the Raptors' parent company), explained: "Bobby has a deep understanding of the game and the NBA, and with that understanding, he has built a competitive, high-level team. The Toronto Raptors had an exciting season. It was a pleasure to watch them play together. We have seen the results of Bobby and the Raptors' joint efforts. We also believe that he will continue to lead us to a better future."

Webster himself stated, "We are building an extraordinary team, and I am honored to continue leading the Toronto Raptors in their pursuit of another championship. I thank Keith and the MLSE Board of Governors for their trust and support. This is a team focused on the future, and we are ready for the challenges ahead."

The Raptors also confirmed contract extensions with several members of their management team, including Dan Tortzman, Vice President of Player Personnel and Assistant General Manager; Keith Boyarski, Vice President of Basketball Strategy and Research; and Terra Flexman, Vice President of Operations. Webster also spoke highly of them: "This team has played an indispensable role in the team's building and long-term planning—their leadership, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched."
