Angers completes contract extension with its captain Haris Belkebla..


Angers announced on their official website on Sunday that they have extended the contract of its captain Haris Belkebla.


According to Angers' official statement, Belkebla has signed on a new short-term two-year deal with the club which will oly run until the summer of 2028.


About Haris Belkebla


The 32-year-old Haris Belkebla was born on August 3, 2000, in La Courneuve, France. He is 1.77 meters tall and plays as a defensive midfielder. He comes from a family with many members, including his father, Kamel, who are professional footballers. He holds dual French and Algerian citizenship.


Belkebla joined Boulogne's youth academy at a young age. In 2012, he moved to Valenciennes and began playing for their B team that summer.


In the summer of 2014, Belkebla moved to Tours on a free transfer and completed his first-team debut in August of the same year.


In the summer of 2018, Belkebla moved to Brest on a free transfer.


In September 2013, Belkeblal joined Ohod. However, he did not get any playing time for the Saudi Arabian club.


After terminating his contract and leaving Ohod in August 2024, Belkebla joined Angers as a free agent.


Since joining Angers, Belkebla has made 58 appearances for the Ligue 1 club in all competitions, providing 2 assists.
