League of Legends: Former Fnatic top laner Oscarinin reportedly may be joining GIANTX..

Sheep Esports exclusively reported on Tuesday that former Fnatic League of Legends top laner Oscarinin may be joining GIANTX.

According to the report, Oscarinin has naturally become one of the potential players joining the team following GIANTX's recent announcement of a major roster overhaul.

If the transfer goes through, Oscarinin will fill the vacancy left by Lot's recent departure.

GIANTX recently suddenly announced that they have parted ways with Lot and Korean bot laner Oh Hyun-taek (ID: Noah), and stated that a new roster would be announced soon.

It's worth noting that many fans and industry insiders were quite surprised by GIANTX's move.

This is the team's first roster change since the 2025 Winter Split. However, during the EMEA Championship LEC Playoffs, head coach Guilhoto stated in an interview that although the current roster was considered the team's peak, the club had no intention of making changes.

Therefore, while the team's decision to make roster adjustments in order to break through in this LEC Summer Split is understandable, it still inevitably surprised some.

For Oscarinin, this transfer ends his hiatus in the LEC's top league.

Although he missed other competitions in the first half of the year, he can return to the top European league without going through the ERL.

His name had already appeared in transfer rumors during the 2025/2026 offseason. NAVI expressed interest in him, but ultimately chose Maynter.

His return also ends a difficult spell for him. This year, like top players such as Adam and Bwipo, he failed to secure a starting position in the LEC.

Earlier this year, while still looking for opportunities, Oscarinin posted on X (Twitter) that he wanted to return to the LEC and would focus on streaming and solo queue in the meantime.

Since leaving Fnatic, especially since April, Oscarinin has been diligently practicing solo queue.

The Spanish top laner recently reached a career-high LP of 2329, while his LP on the EUW server is 2209.

After three years with Fnatic, despite his original contract running until 2026, he became one of the main casualties of the team's roster rebuild.

Now that he has joined GIANTX, he will have a new opportunity to prove he is still qualified to compete at the highest level of the European League of Legends esports scene.
