Roberto Martinez: I am very satisfied with the team's cohesion; the players fully deserved this victory.

Portugal's national team coach Roberto Martinez praised the team's overall performance after their victory over Uzbekistan and expressed his approval and satisfaction with the team's progress.  

After the match, Roberto Martinez said, "This is exactly the response we were hoping for in the locker room. Sometimes, we need to go through tests like the first game to help us grow. Today we saw the team maintain a high degree of consistency in attitude and commitment, while also showing greater maturity and no longer being easily affected by emotional fluctuations."  

“I am very satisfied because the players fully deserved this victory. More importantly, we stabilized our emotions well after scoring. In the last game, we maintained a good level of intensity before scoring, but our discipline loosened afterward. Today, the team entered the game in good form from the start and strictly executed the established tactics throughout, resulting in a significantly different overall performance.”  

In response to external criticism, Roberto Martinez stated: "The team as a whole is very strong and very united. Over the past few days, we have learned to block out external distractions and focus on what we need to do. The competitive atmosphere within the team is excellent, but I also feel sorry for those players who haven't yet had a chance to play; they are equally important. External voices will not affect us; on the contrary, they will become a driving force during difficult times."  

Speaking about João Félix, Roberto Martínez said: "It's unfair to judge one player alone. What's more important is that all the players are always ready to contribute to the team. João Félix performed excellently in training and played very enthusiastically and enjoyed the game today. His technical ability is outstanding."
