Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonzalo Ramos has officially joined AC Milan on a five-year contract.

AC Milan announced on Sunday that Portuguese striker Gonzalo Ramos has joined the club from Paris Saint-Germain. The two sides signed a five-year contract, valid until June 30, 2031.

Fabrizio Romano further pointed out that Ramos' transfer fee was €74 million plus add-ons. His contract with Paris Saint-Germain was originally set to expire in 2028.

The 25-year-old Ramos came through Benfica's youth academy and made his first-team debut in the Portuguese Primeira Liga on July 22, 2020. He then played for Benfica for three years, scoring 41 goals and providing 12 assists in 106 appearances across all competitions, and winning a Primeira Liga title.

In August 2023, Ramos joined Paris Saint-Germain on a loan-to-buy deal. To date, he has made 131 appearances for PSG, scoring 45 goals and providing 10 assists, winning two Champions League titles, three Ligue 1 titles, one UEFA Super Cup, one FIFA Intercontinental Cup, two French Cups, and three French Super Cups with the team.

Ramos has also performed admirably on the international stage. He has made 26 appearances for the Portuguese national team so far, contributing 10 goals and 3 assists, and played for about 7 minutes in the group stage match against the Democratic Republic of Congo in this World Cup.

After completing the transfer, Ramos bid a heartfelt farewell to Paris Saint-Germain via his personal Instagram account: "Today, one of the most important chapters of my career is coming to an end. It was an honor to play for Paris Saint-Germain, and I will always remember it."
