Counter Strike 2: 100 Thieves officially signed former Monte in-game leader Gizmy and benched rifler Ag1l..

American esports powerhouse 100 Thieves announced on Wednesday via their official X (Twitter) account that former Monte in-game leader Gizmy has officially joined their Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team, while rifler Ag1l has been benched.

According to 100 Thieves' official statement, the club is excited about the future under Gizmy's leadership and thanks Ag1l for his contributions to the team, wishing him all the best.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Gizmy will make his 100 Thieves debut on July 21st at the BLAST Bounty Season 2 Online Stage.

Gizmy's arrival means that former in-game leader rain will transition into 100 Thieves' entry fragger role.

The 22-year-old Gizmy joined the Monte Academy in 2023 and was officially promoted to the main team in early 2025.

Over the past year and a half, he represented Monte at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne Major, helping the international powerhouse advance to Stage 3.

However, after their run in Germany, Gizmy's four teammates all moved to Luminosity.

At the time, the British Counter Strike 2 (CS2) player complained through his official X account that his teammates had signed contracts with the team before the Major without informing him, which he found "very disappointing."
