Cuomo officially announced the signing of Luis Milla, with a contract running until June 2029.

Como 1907 Football Club has officially confirmed the signing of 31-year-old Spanish midfielder Luis Milla from Getafe, signing a contract until June 2029. This permanent transfer will inject experience, creativity, and technical skill into Como's midfield.

Luis Milla started his career in Real Majadahonda's youth academy before joining Atlético Madrid's youth academy, where he gradually made a name for himself at Tenerife. In 2020, he made his La Liga debut and joined Granada. During his two seasons with Granada, he also earned European playing time, appearing in six Europa League matches.

In 2022, Luis Milla transferred to Getafe and quickly established himself as a key player in the team. He is known for his stable ball control, excellent game reading, and mastery of the tempo. In the 2025/26 season, he had a standout performance, providing 10 assists in 37 league appearances, ranking second in the La Liga assist charts.

Como manager Cesc Fàbregas said: "Luis Milla is a player with a very deep understanding of the game. He can provide control, technical quality and rich experience to the midfield, and his character and ambition are also qualities we value very much. He can help the team both with and without the ball, and we are very happy to have him join the team."

Luis Milla said after joining the club: “I am very happy to join Como and I am full of expectations and ambition for the challenges ahead. I agree with the club’s development philosophy and I am happy to play under a coach like Cesc Fabregas. I will come here with ambition, experience and determination to help the team, and I look forward to playing in front of the fans and working hard for a successful season.”
