In the 2026 World Cup quarter-final, England faced Norway at Miami Stadium. After a hard-fought extra time, they ultimately came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to a goal from Jude Bellingham.

Both sides played with unusual caution at the start of the first half. In the 29th minute, England finally had their first shot of the match, but Harry Kane's free kick from the edge of the box flew directly into the stands.
