Hamburg officially announce the signing of Troyes' French attacking midfielder Martin Adeline..


Hamburg announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have signed French attacking midfielder Martin Adeline from Troyes.


According to Hamburg's official statement, Adeline has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.


After completing the transfer procedures, Adeline, who was interviewed by the Hamburg official website for the first time, said: "From the first approach with Hamburg, I felt very good. The size of the club, the fans, and the stadium have all deeply attracted me, and the opportunity to continue to grow and prove myself in the Bundesliga is equally exciting."


"I am very grateful for the trust everyone at the club has placed in me. Now, I am very much looking forward to meeting my new teammates and playing my first match at Volksparkstadion."


About Martin Adeline


The 22-year-old Adeline was born on December 2, 2003, in El Pennay, France. He is 1.80 meters tall and plays as an attacking midfielder.


Adlin played in the youth academies of Rodez and Érpenay during his childhood. He joined Paris Saint-Germain's youth academy in 2018, then moved to Reims' youth academy in 2020, before completing his Reims first-team debut by coming on as a substitute the following December.


From January 2023 to the first half of the following year, Adeline successively played for Rodez and Annecy on-loan.


In August 2024, Adeline moved to Troyes for €500,000.


During his two-year spell at Troyes, Adeline made 63 appearances for the newly promoted Ligue 1 side in all competitions, scoring 13 goals and providing 15 assists, winning one Ligue 2 title with the team.
