Will Rankhill has officially joined Middlesbrough and signed a five-year contract with the club.

Middlesbrough have completed a summer signing, bringing in 21-year-old striker Will Rankshire from Tottenham Hotspur. A member of the England U20 national team, he has signed a contract with the club until the summer of 2031. The transfer fee was not disclosed.

Despite attracting interest from several clubs in this summer's transfer market, Will Frankshee ultimately decided to join Middlesbrough. After officially signing, he said, "Middlesbrough has a rich history and is a truly great club. In my heart, they belong in the Premier League."

Will Lankshire already had considerable experience in the Championship. Last season, he joined Oxford United on loan and made 43 appearances, scoring 11 goals. His consistent and efficient performance earned him the Young Player of the Year award, making him an indispensable part of the team's attack.

In August 2022, Will Rankshire transferred from Sheffield United to Tottenham Hotspur. At that time, he was already an important member of Sheffield United's youth team and had served as the team captain, leading the team to some impressive results. After arriving at Tottenham, Will Rankshire quickly proved his potential and made his Europa League and Premier League debuts in the 2024/25 season.
