Official: The Spurs have re-signed Jones Garcia to a two-way contract.

The San Antonio Spurs announced Wednesday that they have re-signed restricted free agent David Jones Garcia to a one-year two-way contract, which includes approximately $91,000 in guaranteed payouts.

Jones Garcia, 24, was born in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, and moved to the United States in 2018 to pursue his basketball career. He is a 6'3" shooting guard who weighs 95" and can also play as a wing player when necessary.

In October 2024, Garcia went undrafted and moved to the G League. He played for the Mexico City captain and the Salt Lake City All-Star, and from July 2025 onwards, he frequently traveled between the Spurs and their affiliate teams.

To date, Garcia has played only 11 regular season games for the Spurs, averaging 2.9 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 6.2 minutes per game, with a 52.0% field goal percentage. He also played 16 games for the Austin Spurs in the G League, averaging 26.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game, with a 41.6% field goal percentage.

For the Spurs, this signing aims to bolster the team's wing rotation depth. Garcia is expected to spend most of next season in the G League, and management will closely monitor his development.

To make room for Garcia, the Spurs plan to waive 26-year-old two-way forward Emmanuel Miller. Miller signed a two-way contract with the Spurs in February but has yet to play a game.
