Boris's impressive performance in the Summer League earned him a spot on the NBA Summer League All-NBA First Team.

July 23 - Milwaukee Bucks guard Braden Boris, the 10th overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, has been named to the NBA Summer League All-First Team for his outstanding performance in the Summer League.

Boris played four games for the Bucks during the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists, shooting 50% from the field, 36.4% from three-point range, and 66.7% from the free-throw line. He became the first Bucks player to be named to the All-Summer League First Team since Sandro Mamuklashvili in 2022.

Throughout the Summer League, Boris easily created scoring opportunities, finishing with difficult shots under the basket, and also possessed outside shooting ability, becoming an important offensive initiator for the team.

Beyond his offensive performance, Boris is also a strong defensive player, willing to take on physical challenges, actively contesting for the ball, and capable of switching on different types of players. In the Bucks' final Summer League game against the 76ers , he made a crucial dunk to secure the victory for his team.

Milwaukee Bucks Summer League head coach Patrick St. Andrews said that Boris has demonstrated two-way ability. "You can clearly see that he's a two-way player. He shoots well on offense and is equally good on defense."

St. Andrews also stated that one of Boris's greatest strengths is his desire to learn. "He proactively asks for more training content, especially wanting to improve his defense. The maturity he shows far exceeds that of players his age."
