Marko Milovanovic joins Portsmouth on a four-year deal.

Portsmouth have officially announced the completion of their attacking reinforcements, signing Serbian striker Marko Milovanovic from Almería, Spain. The specific amount involved in the deal was not disclosed, and the transaction is still pending registration by FIFA, the FA, and the English Football League before it officially takes effect.  

Marko Milovanovic, 22, has signed a four-year contract with Portsmouth, officially becoming the team's fourth new signing this summer. Speaking about the signing, head coach John Mousinho said, "We are delighted to welcome Marko Milovanovic; his arrival will further enhance the team's competitiveness in attack."  

“Marco Milovanovic possesses the physical attributes perfectly suited to English football, along with outstanding technical ability and mature ball control and handling. During his loan spell in Portugal last season, he impressed with his goal-scoring prowess. I am very much looking forward to seeing him in the Portsmouth shirt and believe he can help the team build on the achievements of the past two seasons.”  

Marko Milovanovic developed through the youth academy of Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade, making his first-team debut at a young age and scoring his first professional goal in a cup match against Dubočić. During his time with Partizan, he also played in European competitions. In the summer of 2022, the Serbian striker transferred to Spanish club Almería.  

Last season, this striker, who had been selected for various youth national teams in Serbia, joined Portuguese club Alwica on loan. During his time there, he played 32 official matches, contributing 10 goals, helping the team finish 11th in the Portuguese league. He also scored in his first match after joining the club against Moreirense.
