In the 73rd minute, Brendon Allensen passed the ball back to Longstaff, who followed up with a low shot to score, putting Leeds United ahead 3-2. In the 85th minute, Sebastian Bornau headed the ball across goal, and Calvert-Lewin headed it in to extend Leeds United's lead to 4-2.

In the end, Leeds United came from behind to defeat Liverpool 4-2.
