Victor Muñoz joins Liverpool: I believe this is the right step.

New signing Victor Muñoz has finally arrived in Liverpool to participate in training. In an interview, the Spanish winger said that joining Liverpool was the right step in his career and he hopes to integrate into the team as soon as possible through training.

The 23-year-old Víctor Muñoz previously played for Osasuna and made 34 appearances in the 2025/26 La Liga season, contributing 6 goals and 2 assists.

It is worth mentioning that Víctor Muñoz was selected for Spain's 2026 World Cup squad and ultimately won the championship with the team.

After a period of rest, Victor Munoz finally arrived at the training ground to join his teammates in preparing for the new Premier League season. Munoz said, "The World Cup was an unforgettable experience. From a very young age, I dreamed of participating in the World Cup. To be honest, I never really imagined I would experience something like this in my life, but I also know that it's all in the past. Now, I've come to Liverpool with new goals and determination to begin a new journey."

"Today was the first time I met my teammates, and they were all very enthusiastic and patiently told me a lot of things, such as where to go, the training schedule, and how the club operates. I also completed my first training session, and the subsequent lessons arranged by the coaching staff were also very helpful, so I feel great right now."

Victor Muñoz shared, "The whole transfer process was very quick. At the time, I was still involved in the World Cup and couldn't leave the national team to come to Liverpool to handle everything. However, I talked to my family, and we had almost no hesitation. We both felt that joining Liverpool was the right decision. So everything went very quickly, and I am very happy to be here."

“I’m convinced this is the right step in my career. Manager Andoni Iraola has told me personally that he will give me a lot of trust. He knows I’m still young, but he says I’m here as a professional player and he will help me grow and improve at this great club and at such a legendary stadium as Anfield.”
