Newly promoted Premier League side Hull City announced on Wednesday the signing of Greek goalkeeper Constantinos Zollakis from Olympiacos. The two sides agreed on a five-year contract, running until June 30, 2031.

According to multiple sources, Zoracis' transfer fee was a record-breaking €23.3 million for Hull City. With the transfer completed, his annual salary also increased significantly from €500,000 to €2.74 million.

The 23-year-old Zoracis came through the Platanias youth academy and officially joined the Olympiacos U19 team in 2018. On July 8, 2020, he made his first-team debut in the Greek Super League playoffs.

To date, Zoracis has made 131 appearances for Olympiacos, keeping a clean sheet in 64 of them. As the team's starting goalkeeper, he has played a crucial role in Olympiacos' victories in one European Championship title, four Greek Super League titles, two Greek Cup titles, and one Greek Super Cup title.

On June 11, 2024, Zollakis made his debut for the Greek national team in a friendly match. He has since guarded the goal for Greece 9 times, keeping 4 clean sheets.

After completing the transfer, Zoracis said: "I am very happy to be here. It is a great honor for me to join Hull City. I am ready to start a new chapter in my career."

"I have met all the players and staff in Türkiye, and I am very grateful for everyone's warm welcome."

“I achieved great success at Olympiacos, winning the European Championship, the league title, and the cup, and also participating in the Champions League.”

"Hull City is very different from Olympiacos because we play in the Premier League. Many top players play in the Premier League, and playing against them is a challenge for me."

"I feel ready. I will give my all in daily training to help the team achieve its goals."

“I’m very happy to be in England. I chose to join Hull City because the Premier League represents the highest level of football in the world.”

“I know Hull City has passionate fans, so I can’t wait to play for them.”
