Wolves manager Pesciutto admitted that the team needs to remain calm in the first match after a draw.

In the first round of the new Championship season, Wolverhampton Wanderers drew 2-2 with Blackburn Rovers at home thanks to a last-minute equalizer.

After the match, Wolves manager Cesar Peixoto attended a press conference and shared his thoughts on the draw, the home crowd atmosphere, and adapting to the Championship.

Speaking about the hard-fought draw, Pesciotto admitted that the whole team was fighting for victory from start to finish: "I wanted to get the three points from the beginning. We were the better team in the first half and created more chances."

"But after conceding a goal in the second half, everyone started playing impulsively, losing their composure and tactical discipline. Coupled with injuries and player losses, the situation became very passive."

"Even with one less player, the players showed great fighting spirit and fought until the very last moment. Although we wanted three points, this point we got under such adversity was still crucial."

Speaking about the atmosphere at the Molineux Stadium, Pesciotto praised the fans' support: "The atmosphere in the stadium is fantastic, the support in the stands is incredible, and I love this home atmosphere."

In addition, regarding adapting to the Championship, Peschoto emphasized the importance of tactical discipline and tempo control: "I had studied the Championship extensively before, but the experience was completely different. The Championship's transitions between attack and defense are extremely fast, and once you lose your organization and discipline, you will be in trouble."

“My goal is to keep the team mentally stable and in a tight formation for the full 90 minutes. We must adapt to the competitive pace of the Championship as quickly as possible and ensure that we can maintain the same dominance as we did in the first half throughout the game.”
