Beijing JDG defeated Changsha TES.A 3-2, successfully winning this crucial match.

The first week of the first round of the 2026 KPL Summer Split regular season is in full swing. In a highly anticipated match, Beijing JDG faced off against Changsha TES.A. Both teams had undergone roster adjustments and tactical upgrades during the off-season, displaying a strong competitive spirit and desire to win from the very first game. The match went the full five games, with both sides constantly exchanging blows, pushing the intensity of the competition and tactical maneuvering to its peak. Ultimately, Beijing JDG, with their greater resilience and more consistent execution in the decisive game, narrowly defeated Changsha TES.A 3-2, securing a hard-fought victory in this crucial match.  

In the first game, Beijing JDG relied on Qingrong's outstanding performance with Wang Zhaojun, establishing an advantage in the mid-game through stable control and teamwork, securing the first victory and earning the MVP. In the second game, Changsha TES.A adjusted their tactics in time, with Shuyuan's Jing performing brilliantly in the jungle, making several key incursions and driving the pace of the game, helping the team tie the score. The first two games ended in a 1-1 tie, and the match entered a balanced phase.  

In the third game, Beijing JDG's Wuwei played Zhao Huaizhen, playing a crucial role in team fights and jungle skirmishes. Through repeated control and protection of his teammates, he helped the team establish an advantage and reach match point, earning him the MVP award for that game. In the fourth game, Changsha TES.A fought back fiercely, dragging the game to a 2-2 tie, forcing a decisive fifth game.  

In the decisive fifth game, Beijing JDG gained an advantage in the draft phase, building a high-burst, dive-in system around Wushuang Nezha, Guangming Sikong Zhen, and Sun Quan to strengthen their late-game team fight initiation capabilities. Changsha TES.A's lineup lacked control capabilities, and they faced significant defensive pressure against Beijing JDG's multi-pronged attack strategy, struggling to mount an effective counter.  

In the mid-to-late game, Beijing JDG gradually established an economic advantage. Wushuang's Nezha repeatedly used his ultimate to make crucial initiations and effectively divide the battlefield. In the final jungle team fight, Beijing JDG achieved a zero-for-many exchange through teamwork and used the Lord to push and end the game. Wushuang's consistent and crucial performance earned him the MVP award in the decisive game.  

Beijing JDG defeated their opponent 3-2, achieving their second consecutive win in the regular season and building confidence for the remaining matches. In this match, the team demonstrated a high level of execution in both player performance and tactical adjustments. As the season progresses, Beijing JDG, having gradually perfected their teamwork, is showcasing a stable competitive state and strength.
