Elversberg completes contract extension with German goalkeeper Nicolas Kristof..

Elversberg announced on its official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of its German goalkeeper, Nicolas Kristof.

According to Elversberg's official statement, Kristof has signed on a new three-year contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2029.

Kristof, who was interviewed by the Elversberg official website again after completing his contract extension procedures, said, "From the first day I arrived at Elversberg, I've felt at home."

"We have experienced extraordinary growth together over the past few years, while always maintaining our unique team spirit. This makes me very proud and has forged a close bond between us and the club members. I look forward to giving my all for the club, the team, and our fans in the years to come."

About Nicolas Kristof

The 26-year-old Kristof was born on December 20, 1999, in Heidelberg, Germany. He is 1.85 meters tall, plays as a goalkeeper, and holds dual German and Austrian citizenship.

Kristof joined Hoffenheim's youth academy at age 12, then Sandhausen's in 2015, and began playing for Sandhausen's reserve team in 2018.

The following summer, Kristof joined non-league club Astoria Walldorf.

During his two-year spell with Astoria Walldorf, Kristor helped the team reach the North Baden Cup final once.

In the summer of 2021, Kristof joined Elversberg on a free transfer.

Since joining Elversberg, Kristof has so far made 165 appearances for the newly promoted Bundesliga side in all competitions, conceding 202 goals and keeping 49 clean sheets. He has won one 3. Liga title and three Saarland Cups with the team.
