Newcastle United have officially announced the signing of Bazumana Touré, with both parties signing a long-term contract.

Newcastle United have officially confirmed the signing of Ivorian young winger Bazumana Touré on a long-term agreement. The transfer fee was not disclosed. The 20-year-old winger made three appearances for Ivory Coast during this summer's World Cup, helping the team advance to the knockout stages. Prior to joining Newcastle United, he played for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.  

Following the signing of French goalkeeper Evan João, Bazumana Touré becomes Newcastle United's second first-team signing this summer. After completing the signing, the Ivorian winger couldn't hide his joy, saying, "I'm incredibly excited to join Newcastle United. Since I was a child, I've dreamed of playing in the Premier League and having the opportunity to play for a top club like Newcastle United."  

“I can feel that Newcastle United is a united family, and this environment helps me perform at my best. I will cherish every opportunity to play for the team and give my all for this shirt. I can’t wait to meet my teammates, fans and everyone at the club, and I’m really looking forward to making my debut at St. James’ Park.”  

Speaking about the signing, Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe said: "We are delighted to welcome Bazumana Touré to the team. He has already proven his ability in Germany and is capable of playing in Europe's top leagues. He has also gained a wealth of experience through international matches, especially his impressive performance at this summer's World Cup."  

“We believe he is a young player with unlimited potential who can bring different elements to the game. He still has a lot of room to grow, and we look forward to helping him continue to improve and achieving success together in the future.”  

Newcastle United's sporting director, Ross Wilson, also welcomed Bazumana Touré's arrival. He said, "We are delighted to welcome Bazumana Touré. Although he is only 20 years old, he has already shown promising talent and continues to grow and improve every season."
