The 76ers acquired Love on a two-way contract to strengthen their roster depth.

July 6th - According to ESPN , the Philadelphia 76ers have reached a two-way contract agreement with guard Caleb Love . This is the team 's second two-way signing after signing Rajon Rupert .

The 24- year-old Love was a five-star high school player with extensive NCAA experience. He played five seasons in college, first three for the University of North Carolina, and then transferred to the University of Arizona for two seasons. In 142 college games, he averaged 15.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, making a total of 200 three-pointers.

Love went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft and subsequently signed a two-way contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. He played 49 games for the Blazers , starting once , averaging 10.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game , with a field goal percentage of 38.8% and a three-point percentage of 31.8% . From the end of December last year to the beginning of February this year , he averaged 15.3 points per game with a field goal percentage of 43.3% .

With Love and Rupert signing two-way contracts, the 76ers now have only one two-way contract roster spot remaining. Currently, the 76ers ' frontcourt rotation includes Joel Embiid , Adem Bona , Johnny Bloom , and Jabari Walker .
