He also admitted that he had been under tremendous psychological pressure throughout the season.

Mitchell Robinson stated that the reason he injured his hand before the NBA Finals was not during the game, but because he lost control of his emotions after learning of his brother's serious car accident and punched a truck.

“ Upon returning to New York, I received an unexpected phone call from my family informing me that my brother had been in a car accident, ” Robinson wrote. “ As the eldest son, I was deeply worried and panicked.
