League of Legends: Heretics appoints former Fnatic ace top laner sOAZ as new positional coach, part ways with Febiven..

Spanish League of Legends esports team Heretics announced on Thursday via their official X  (Twitter) account that they have parted ways with their former positional coach, Febiven, and have immediately appointed former Fnatic ace top laner sOAZ to replace him.

According to Heretics' official statement, this decision was made jointly by management after technical discussions and was personally announced by Head of Operations Niklas.

Niklas believes that due to the team's disastrous performance in the previous LEC season, Heretics had to make significant changes to its roster in hopes of turning the tide.

As a top-tier player proficient in multiple positions in League of Legends esports, the team believes sOAZ is absolutely capable of becoming a competent positional coach.

While the team is parting ways with Febiven, everyone at the team wishes him gratitude for his past efforts and contributions and wishes him all the best for the future.

In addition, Heretics also announced changes to the team's coaching staff.

Former FlyQuest coach NukeDuck will become the team's new head coach.

Assistant coach mithy, who has been coaching remotely, will now work alongside NukeDuck to coach the team at their training camp in Berlin.

Former head coach Hidon will step down to become the team's mental assistant coach.

Finally, Heretics announced that this new coaching team will immediately prepare with the team roster for the Summer Split, making their debut in the LEC Summer Split on July 31st.

Heretics will face Vitality in their first LEC Summer Split match.

Prior to that, they will travel to Paris from July 24th to 26th for a friendly tournament hosted by Karmine Corp (KC).
