The Dota 2 eSports World Cup group stage has concluded, with the top four teams advancing directly to the playoffs.

The group stage of the 2026 Dota 2 Esports World Cup (EWC) concluded yesterday. After six days of intense competition, PARIVISION and Team Yandex secured the top spots in Groups C and D, respectively, on the final day.

The two teams, along with Team Falcons and Nigma Galaxy, who have already secured the top spots in Groups A and B respectively, will directly advance to the playoffs.

In a highly anticipated match in Group C, PARIVISION, who had previously maintained an 8-0 record, faced fierce resistance from Team Spirit. Spirit won the first game, but PARIVISION adjusted in time for the second game, ultimately resulting in a 1-1 tie, with PARIVISION securing first place in the group.

The battle for the top spot in Group D was between Yandex and 1w Team. Both teams had the same record of 7 wins and 1 loss. Yandex quickly defeated its opponent in just 31 minutes in the first game, and then won a long and arduous 60-minute battle to sweep 1w Team 2-0 and advance to the playoffs.

At this point, a total of 12 teams have advanced to the qualifying rounds. They are Team Spirit, VG, MOUZ, 1w Team, LGD, and OG from Groups C and D, as well as the previously confirmed teams from Groups A and B: BetBoom Team, Rune Eaters, Xtreme Gaming, Aurora, Team Liquid, and PlayTime.

The tournament has a one-day break today. From July 14th to 15th, the 12 teams will compete in a two-day qualifying round for the final four playoff spots. Meanwhile, eight teams, including REKONIX, Team Nemesis, VP, and IC x Insanity, have already been eliminated from this World Cup.
