Counter Strike 2: Rifler MaiL09 officially returns to Metizport and will be reinstated to the starting roster following the end of his loan spell..

Norwegian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) e-sports club Metizport announced on Tuesday via its official X (Twitter) account that rifler MaiL09 has returned to the team after his loan spell at Alliance and will rejoin the starting roster.

According to Metizport's official statement, MaiL09 will replace isak, who had recently left the team.

isak recently announced his decision to take a break due to physical and mental exhaustion, a decision Metizport respected, and he has parted ways with the team.

Metizport also hinted that MaiL09's position within the team may change due to upcoming "major structural adjustments," a change that could potentially maximize the player's full potential.

Metizport said that MaiL09 will be given "necessary adjustment space" before this adjustment is completed.

MaiL09, who is only still 17 years old, previously played for several C2 teams including Young Gods, GODSENT, and Johnny Speeds, before officially joining Metizport in July 2025.

As a rifler, he played 86 maps and participated in 1842 rounds for Metizport, averaging a rating of 1.08.

At the end of 2025, "because the team couldn't find a way to utilize his potential," MaiL09 was benched by Metizport. He then played on-loan for Alliance.

During his time with Alliance, MaiL09 performed exceptionally well, averaging a rating of 1.19. Alliance even missed qualifying the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne Major by just 10 points on VRS.

This new Metizport roster will make its debut at the upcoming Stake Pulse Beat I tournament in Stockholm. MaiL09 and his teammates will face off against top teams including Liquid, Betclic, Fnatic, and Johnny Speeds for a prize pool of $60,000.
