Captain Bowen rejected offers from five of the Premier League's top teams, vowing to stay at West Ham and help them return to the Premier League.

Despite West Ham United's unfortunate relegation to the Championship, captain Jarrod Bowen has officially announced that he has no intention of transferring and will remain with the team.

The 29-year-old English striker recently attracted close attention from several Premier League giants, including Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Aston Villa and Everton, but he ultimately demonstrated his loyalty to his club with his actions.

To clarify his future, Bowen flew to Prague in the summer for in-depth talks with the club's largest shareholder, Daniel Kretinsky, and board members. Impressed by the management's ambition and the club's future plans, the captain, whose contract runs until 2030, decided to stay.

In an interview with the club's official media, Bowen admitted: "I thought about it for a long time in the summer, but when I look ahead to the future and what would make me happiest is leading this club back to the Premier League. For me, choosing to stay was a decision that did not require hesitation."

For Bowen, staying in the second division means his hopes of returning to Thomas Tuchel's England national team are slim, but he still chooses to stand with the team.

Currently, West Ham United, after being relegated, is facing financial liquidation and has already sold Matus Fernandes to Tottenham for £85 million. Key players such as Cricenceo Somerville, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Jean-Clair Todibo are also expected to leave this summer. Bowen's staying on has undoubtedly injected the most crucial boost into the team during this difficult time.
