Venezia announced on their official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of their young winger Alvin Okoro.
According to Venezia's official statement, Okoro has signed on a new long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2031.
About Alvin Okoro
Alvin Okoro, who is only still 21 years old, was born on March 26, 2005, in Vicenza, Italy. He is 1.82 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger but can also play as a center forward. He holds dual Italian and Nigerian citizenship.
Okoro joined Udinese's youth academy at a young age and moved to Venezia's youth academy in January 2022. Immediately after the transfer, he was loaned-out to Pordenone's youth academy, before completing his Pordenone first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in April of the same year.
Upon returning from his loan spell that summer, Okoro began playing for Venezia's U21s team.
After being promoted to Venezia's first-team in the summer of 2024, Okoro was immediately loaned-out to Vis Pesaro.
During his loan spell at Vis Pesaro, Okoro's outstanding performances attracted the attention of Juventus.
In August 2025, Okoro joined Juventus on-loan with an option to buy, but only played for the Serie A giants' U23s team.
On the 2026 winter transfer window deadline day, Okoro was recalled early and immediately loaned-out to Juve Stabia.
Last season, Okoro made 18 appearances for the Serie C club in all competitions, scoring 2 goals.
