Counter Strike 2: Fluxo to replace Gaimin Gladiators at the StarLadder Fall South America Closed Qualifers..

StarLadder announced on Tuesday via their official X (Twitter) account that Fluxo will replace Gaimin Gladiators in the Fall South America Closed Qualifiers.

According to StarLadder's official statement, the organizers had initially decided to give Gaimin Gladiators time to complete their new roster, but by the day the participating teams were confirmed, they were still unable to field a full squad and had to withdraw their invitation.

As a replacement, Brazilian powerhouse Fluxo will replace Gaimin Gladiators in this qualifiers.

Gaimin Gladiators suffered a crushing defeat against HEROIC at the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne Major, being eliminated in the first stage, causing a considerable shock.

Following the match, Gaimin Gladiators immediately announced a major roster overhaul due to poor performance and changes in the Major sticker revenue structure.

Currently, JOTA, fer, and horvy have all left the team, with the latter becoming the new head coach of Rebels. The remaining players have been relegated to the bench.

The StarLadder Fall South America Closed Qualifiers will be held from July 28th to August 2nd.

Fluxo will face off against MIBR, Imperial, BESTIA, ShinDen, Galorys, LP, and Turma do Pagode.

The European Open Qualifier is already underway, with the regional qualifiers producing a total of four StarLadder Fall main event slots.

Vitality, FURIA, NaVi, and MOUZ have already secured direct invites to the Counter Strike 2 (CS2) main event.
