Ipswich Town have officially announced the signing of Kane van Ulfren, with a contract running until 2031.

Ipswich Town have officially confirmed the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Kane van Ulfren. The 22-year-old goalkeeper has officially joined the club from Eredivisie side Volendam on a long-term contract until the summer of 2031.

Kane van Ulfren developed through the Volendam youth academy and made his first-team debut in May 2024. Since then, the Dutch goalkeeper has made 64 appearances for the team in all competitions, including 32 in the Eredivisie in the 2025/26 season. After completing his signing, Van Ulfren will travel to La Manga, Spain this week to join Ipswich Town, who are currently training there for pre-season.

After completing the signing, Kane van Ufren expressed his expectations, saying: "When I learned that Ipswich wanted to sign me, I quickly realized that this was a transfer I really wanted to make. I am very excited to be here, and I hope to continue developing in England and to learn and grow at such an ambitious club. The team has just returned to the Premier League and is currently in a very promising phase. I can't wait to meet my teammates and start training as soon as possible."

Ipswich Town manager Gary O'Neill welcomed Kane van Ulfren's arrival, saying, "We are delighted to sign Kane van Ulfren and bring him into our goalkeeping team. Although young, he has already gained some first-team experience at Volendam and hopes to continue to grow and improve in England. His arrival will enhance the overall strength of the goalkeeping position and bring more positive factors to the competition within the team."
