League of Legends: FURIA jungler Tatu suspended and fined 10,000 reais for violating regulations..

Brazilian League of Legends esports club FURIA announced on Thursday via its official X (Twitter) account that their jungler, Tatu, has been suspended by Riot Games and fined 10,000 reais for violating regulations.

According to FURIA's official statement, Tatu will miss the team's next CBLOL series against Vivo Keyd Stars (VKS) during his suspension.

His position will be temporarily filled by assistant coach Luuukz. Although Luuukz has experience playing as a jungler while at RED Candis' Academy in 2022, it has never been his preferred position, leading to widespread belief that FURIA's chances of winning will be affected.

Tatu has since apologized to FURIA for his actions and promised to be more careful to avoid future violations.

This incident occurred during one of FURIA's match in the CBLOL series on July 25th.

During the series against LØS, Tatu opened the in-game chat during the Ban/Pick (BP) phase and communicated with people outside the arena.

Reportedly, he contacted another player on the tournament server to discuss Champion Builds.

This action violated tournament regulations and Riot Games' Global Esports Code of Conduct, constituting undue advantage/improper gain.

FURIA ultimately lost 0-2 to LØS in this series, suffering a defeat in their opening match. If they also lose to VKS, their hopes of winning the Brazilian League of Legends esports tournament will be significantly diminished.
