Premier League champions Arsenal cruised to a 4-1 victory over Girona in a friendly match, thanks to goals from Havertz, Zolis, Max Doman, and Jesus. Manager Arteta stated that the game was a good test for his team and he was satisfied with the overall performance.

In the 16th minute, Max Daumann played a through ball to Havertz, who then slotted a low shot into the net, giving Arsenal a 1-0 lead. In the 30th minute, Zolis gained possession and fired a low shot into the box, extending Arsenal's lead over Girona to 2-0.

In the 50th minute of the second half, Girona took a corner kick, and Arnaud Martinez headed the ball into the net, pulling one back for Girona to 2-1. In the 53rd minute, Max Dawman received the ball outside the penalty area and fired a long-range shot into the net, making the score 3-1 for Arsenal.

In the 55th minute, Ben White passed the ball into the penalty area, and Jesus slotted it home. Arsenal ultimately defeated Girona 4-1 in this friendly match.
