August 4th - According to ESPN , sources revealed that New York Knicks Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations, Gerson Rosas , will leave the team after four seasons.

 

Rosas joined the Knicks in 2022 , having previously held front office positions with the Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves. He has been a key member of the Knicks' roster building in recent years, contributing to the team's victory over the San Antonio Spurs in June of this year to win the NBA championship.

 

Rosas recently posted a photo on social media with Knicks president Leon Rose and senior advisor William Wesley , captioning it: " Mission accomplished, moving on to the next chapter. "

 

Before Rosas joined the Knicks, Leon Rose and Wesley were key decision-makers in the team's management. As the team's system continued to improve, Rosas eventually became the Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations.
