VP Official: Effective immediately, we are parting ways with Commander Perfecto.

Russian CS2 team Virtus.pro announced on Monday that it is parting ways with Ilya Zalutsky (ID: Perfecto) effective immediately.

The statement reads: "We thank Ilya for his professionalism, dedication, and time spent with Virtus.pro. It has been a great honor for our club to write this chapter with such an accomplished and experienced player. We wish Perfecto all the best for the next stage of his career."

Perfecto, 26, primarily plays as a rifler and will assume command roles starting in September 2025. He has played for several CS teams, including Atlants, Syman, NAVI, and C9, and won numerous championships with NAVI, including the 2020 IEM Katowice, the 2020 BLAST World Championship, the 2021 DreamHack Spring Masters, the 2021 IEM Cologne, EPL Season 14, the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major, the 2021 BLAST Autumn Championship, the 2021 BLAST World Championship, and the 2022 BLAST Spring Championship.

Since joining VP in June 2025, Perfecto has played on 63 maps and participated in 1370 rounds across various competitions, with an average rating of only 0.97. Unable to lead VP to a turnaround, he was eventually relegated to the bench in February of this year, and replaced by Nikolai Bityekov (ID: mir).

With Perfecto's departure, VP's current roster is as follows:
