Alonso on Chelsea's preseason preparations: The whole team is full of confidence.

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso said at a press conference in Hong Kong that although the team is still looking for its best form, he is full of confidence and anticipation for the upcoming Premier League season.

Three weeks have passed since Alonso took over training at the Cobham training ground. During the tour, Chelsea played friendly matches against Western Sydney Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, and will soon face Italian giants Juventus at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong.

Despite having about three weeks until the opening match against Fulham in the first round of the Premier League, Alonso is satisfied with the team's current progress in gelling together.

In an interview with the media at the scene, Alonso spoke about his expectations for the new season: "We hope to have a great season. Although the final results won't be known until May, we must show strong competitiveness to compete for important honors. I have full confidence and motivation in the team and the players, and the whole team will be ready when the Premier League season kicks off."

Regarding the current formation and personnel adjustments, Alonso added: "We are in the middle of the preseason, and we carefully analyze the gains and losses after each game. Although we hope to have more time to integrate with the returning players, I have a feeling that we will have a good start. Facing an experienced opponent like Juventus next will be an excellent test for the team."

As preparations continue, Chelsea are going all out to improve their form, and Alonso will lead the team in their quest for various honors in the new season.
