Jaylen Brown Embarks on a New Journey: What I Want to Do Most Right Now is Win.

In an interview, NBA shooting guard Jaylen Brown said that after joining the Philadelphia 76ers, he had to start all over again in his life, and emphasized that his biggest goal at this stage is to win games.

Jaylen Brown, 29, previously played for the Boston Celtics for about 10 years and helped them win the NBA championship in the 2023/24 season.

However, in July, Jaylen Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. It's worth noting, though, that the earlier signing of 41-year-old NBA superstar LeBron James to the 76ers has made the NBA championship race even more exciting.

Jaylen Brown stated, "At this stage of my career, I'm more eager to win than ever before. The reason is clear to everyone: I'm more motivated to win now than at any other time in my career."

When asked about his feelings about being traded, Jaylen Brown said, "Throughout the process, I felt disrespected. For whatever reason, I always thought that those who truly valued me and appreciated everything I had done for the team and the city would think differently. But I quickly realized that wasn't necessarily the case."

“Right now, winning is the most important thing for me. I’m looking forward to this new journey and I’m willing to take on leadership responsibilities and make sacrifices. Whatever the team needs me to do, I will give it my all. So, Philadelphia 76ers, let’s go together.”

In addition, Jaylen Brown said, "I haven't decided which area of Philadelphia I want to live in yet, and I don't know enough about the communities outside the city. So much has changed this summer, and everything is starting all over again."

“There are so many things to deal with. It’s not just about moving luggage, but also my whole family, including my grandparents and mother. My work team and the company I run also need to be reorganized and rearranged. It’s a huge challenge.”
