XG esports team's Dota 2 division announced a complete overhaul.

Due to a poor performance at The International 2026 (TI 2026) in Shanghai, the Chinese esports team Xtreme Gaming (XG) announced a complete restructuring of its Dota 2 division.

Apart from star core player Ame staying with the team, position 2 player NothingToSay, position 3 player Xxs, position 4 player fy, position 5 player xNova, and coach LaNm have all left the team.

The official statement indicated that the departure of this player was a decision made after friendly communication and consultation between the team and the player, fully respecting the player's wishes. As the runner-up team of the previous International Invitational Tournament, XG's performance in this tournament was unexpected.

After losing to Resilience, a team from the same region, in the final round of the group stage, XG was eliminated early. Subsequently, the other two domestic teams also lost in the ranking matches, resulting in no Chinese teams appearing in the knockout stage held on home soil.

Currently, XG is working on building a completely new roster around their core player Ame, and the list of players replacing those who left the team has not yet been announced. Among those leaving, coach LaNm took over the team two weeks before the tournament, replacing xiao8; offlaner Xxs had been with the team for nearly three years and was a member of the previous runner-up roster; NothingToSay, fy, and xNova joined the team last October.

The club expressed its gratitude to the aforementioned players for their contributions to training and matches, as well as their defensive cooperation during their time with the team, and offered them farewell messages.

As the most crucial personnel change following this tournament, XG's disbandment and reorganization have kicked off the transfer adjustments for the new season. The new roster built around Ame will directly determine the team's overall competitiveness in the next season.
