João Cancelo: We have gradually adapted to and implemented the head coach's tactical philosophy.

Portuguese internationals Gonzalo Ramos and Nuno Mendes highly praised their coach's recent performance after the match. Portugal came from behind to defeat Norway 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League, achieving a perfect record of four wins in four matches during the international break. After Norway took the lead, João Cancelo quickly equalized for Portugal, but Gonzalo Ramos then completed the comeback in the second half, securing the victory for his team. After the match, João Cancelo and Nuno Mendes shared their thoughts on the team's progress.

João Cancelo said, "My positioning was ideal, and the moment the ball hit the ground, I didn't think too much and just instinctively took the shot. The team has now absorbed the coach's game philosophy very well, but sometimes luck is also an factor in football. At least based on today's performance, we deserved this victory."

"Cristiano Ronaldo is not only our captain, but also a representative of the Portuguese national team. He is the most outstanding player in the history of Portuguese football, and I believe that no matter how things develop in the future, it will eventually move in the best direction."

Nuno Mendes said, "Achieving four consecutive wins is not easy, but we ultimately fulfilled the coach's requirements. Despite limited preparation time, the team was still able to play according to the established plan. Over the four games, our performance has been quite good, and we have shown sufficient consistency."

“We still have a lot of room for improvement because our current performance hasn’t fully reflected the team’s potential. We have many excellent players, and I believe that over time we can show even more. Of course, we are happy to have achieved this result. If Cristiano Ronaldo were to return to the team, he would certainly receive the warmest welcome, and everyone would welcome him with open arms. As for other issues, I will not discuss them further; I just want to focus on playing football.”
