Jesus Areso: We will prepare fully for the match against Valencia and strictly implement the team's tactical arrangements.

Jesus Areso stated that the team is full of confidence for the upcoming matches and is currently actively preparing for the away game against Valencia. He pointed out that although the two La Liga matches were postponed, and the international break disrupted the original schedule, Athletic Bilbao is fully prepared and hopes to fight for victory away from home.

Jesus Areso said at the pre-match press conference: "Currently, all our attention is focused on the match against Valencia, and the team needs to play well according to our tactical ideas. We are all looking forward to returning to La Liga."

"I believe that we should try to maintain a positive attitude no matter what the situation is. Right now, the most important thing is to do our best to win. As for the other two postponed matches, we will try to make them up later."

Speaking about the upcoming match, Jesus Areso said, "It is destined to be a challenging match, and with the opponent changing their head coach, it is difficult for us to accurately predict how they will perform in the game."

The full-back also discussed his current performance and physical condition, comparing this season with last season. He said, "Last season, my physical condition wasn't ideal. But this year, I started thinking about where I could improve. Once I figured that out, I took all the necessary steps to get myself into top physical shape."

Furthermore, Jesus Areso also spoke highly of former Athletic Bilbao captain Oscar de Marcos, who has now joined Edin Terzić's coaching staff. Areso stated that Oscar de Marcos is a role model for him and praised him as "one of the best right-backs in the club's history."
