Palinha is grateful for the fans' support, which helped Tottenham weather a tough season.

In a recent interview, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Palinha expressed his gratitude to the fans for their continued support and for helping the "Lilywhites" through this challenging season.

Last season, Tottenham Hotspur secured Champions League qualification by winning the Europa League. However, in the 2025/26 Premier League season, Tottenham Hotspur struggled to regain their form and even faced relegation in the crucial final stages.

However, in the previous Premier League final round match, Palinha scored a goal in the first half and ultimately defeated Everton 1-0 at home, achieving their goal of avoiding relegation by finishing 17th.

Palinha, 30, said, "If I have the chance, I just want to express my gratitude and thanks to all the fans and supporters. They have stood with us from the beginning of the season until now, because as I said before, this is not something to be taken for granted."

"It's incredible that we still have such tremendous support after such a season."

Palinha continued, "In my opinion, this is what a great club is all about. Everyone, both on and off the pitch, is inspiring the team, especially before such an important match. In fact, this has been the case before some of our previous high-profile games."

“This shows what Tottenham Hotspur is all about, and I think one of our biggest gains this season has been the bond we’ve built with our fans. Now, we’re enjoying it and thanking everyone for everything they’ve done.”
