Topson and Arteezy team up for the TI 2026 Open Qualifier

Topson, the two-time Dota 2 champion, announced that he will team up with Arteezy, Ceb, Qojqva, and Pablo to participate in the open qualifiers for The International 2026 (TI 2026).
Popular streamer Gorgc is expected to become the team's coach. The open qualifiers will begin on June 9th, while the TI main event is scheduled to be held in Shanghai from August 13th to 23rd.
This team brings together many star players from Western Dota history. Mid laner Topson and offlaner Ceb helped OG win TI8 and TI9 championships together.
Core player Arteezy played for EG and Team Secret for many years before retiring from the competitive scene after Shopify Rebellion disbanded in 2025. Veteran offlaner Qojqva and Swedish support Pablo also have extensive experience in European tournaments.
It's worth mentioning that Arteezy publicly stated two weeks ago that he wouldn't participate, believing he was too competitive and only wanted to join a team with championship potential. However, he ultimately changed his mind and joined the roster, a reversal that sparked attention and speculation among players.
Although the players are past their prime, and given the version updates and competition from numerous young teams in the open qualifiers, some believe their chances of advancing to the main tournament are slim. However, this lineup, brimming with nostalgia and generating considerable buzz, still offers fans a chance to witness legendary players reunite on stage and enjoy the pure thrill of competition.
