Alliance has officially confirmed that MaiL09 has returned to Metizport after the loan period expired.

Swedish CS2 team Alliance announced on Tuesday that Liam Tugel (ID: MaiL09) has returned to Metizport after his loan spell ended. His future plans remain undecided.

MaiL09, 17, previously played for several CS teams including Young Gods, GODSENT, and Johnny Speeds before officially joining Metizport in July 2025. As a rifler, he played 86 maps and participated in 1842 rounds for Metizport, with an average rating of 1.08.

Since joining Alliance on loan in January of this year, MaiL09 has perfectly filled the void left by Alex Sandgren (ID: poiii) after he transferred to 100 Thieves. To date, he has played 130 maps and participated in 2818 rounds for Alliance, with an average personal rating of 1.19. He also helped the team win championships in the ROG JOURNEY Spring Championship, CCT Series Season 3 European Series 15, and the Tipsport Conqueror Cup in Prague this year.

In a statement, Alliance expressed its deep gratitude for MaiL09's contributions during his loan spell. They wrote, "We extend our sincerest thanks to Liam for his hard work during his loan spell – he won two LAN tournaments and a CCT championship here with us!"

MaiL09 responded immediately: "Thank you for making me a member of this team. You have given me a happy experience and a good environment, and have trusted me from day one. I am sincerely grateful for your trust and support throughout this journey. I wish you all the best."
