Ancelotti makes his debut as national team coach, firmly believing that Brazil has the ability to defeat any opponent.

On the eve of the opening match of Group C in the upcoming World Cup, 67-year-old Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti is ushering in a new chapter in his career.

Carlo Ancelotti, who has won the Champions League five times during his club coaching career, will lead Brazil against Morocco on Saturday, making his World Cup coaching debut.

Regarding his new job, Ancelotti admitted at a press conference on Friday: "This is a completely new experience. Representing this footballing nation can be summed up in two words: responsibility and honor. This is a unique and very beautiful moment in my career."

Despite Brazil's poor performance in the World Cup qualifiers, losing 6 out of 18 matches and finishing only fifth, and facing the challenges of Rodrygo and Esteban Willian being sidelined with injuries, as well as key player Neymar missing the first match, Ancelotti remains confident in the team.

Ancelotti emphasized: "We have a team that can compete with any team in the world, and we have no doubt about that. It is a team with both strength and experience, and we have absolute confidence in it."

In the interview, Ancelotti predicted that the competition in this World Cup would be very even. Although some commentators believe that this Brazilian team is not as strong as it used to be, Ancelotti said that the whole team is fully prepared for the first match. He will do his best to lead this powerhouse, which has not won the World Cup since 2002, to end its 24-year wait for the global title.
