Elfsberger has announced the signing of Maurice Clattenmacher from Bayern Munich on a four-year contract.

Elfsberg has confirmed the completion of a major transfer deal, signing 20-year-old attacking player Maurice Clattenmacher from Bayern Munich. The German youth international, who previously played on loan at Hertha Berlin, has officially joined the team and signed a four-year contract that runs until the summer of 2030.

Maurice Clattenmacher initially trained at Tus-Bateerling before joining Bayern Munich's youth academy, where he spent four years. He then moved to Unterhaching to transition from the youth to the senior teams. In 2024, he returned to Bayern Munich but was subsequently loaned to a second-division club to gain more playing time.

During his professional career, he played for SSV Ulm 1846 and last season for Hertha Berlin in the 2. Bundesliga. Cross-season statistics show that this equally adept attacking player has made 54 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, primarily operating on the wings, but also capable of playing as an attacking midfielder.

Elfsberg's sporting director, Christian Weber, said: "We have signed a very promising player who has already proven himself in the 2. Bundesliga. He has excellent speed, a good sense of space, and a variety of dribbling skills, all of which are very suitable for our tactical requirements on the flanks and give us confidence that he can quickly adapt to the intensity of the Bundesliga."

Elfsberg's sporting director, Christian Weber, said: "We have brought in a very promising young player who has already demonstrated his abilities in the 2. Bundesliga. His speed, ability to control space, and versatility with the ball are a perfect fit for our tactical system on the wings, and we believe he can quickly integrate into and adapt to the high level of competition in the Bundesliga."

Maurice Clattenmacher said: "The Bundesliga has always been an important goal I have strived for in my career. I am very proud to have taken this step in such a dynamic and well-managed club as Elfsberg. At the same time, this is what motivates me to continue. I hope to prove myself in a higher level of league, contribute to the team, and strive for an important position in the squad. I am looking forward to it and will give my all every day."
