Monza completes contract extension with Italian defender Samuele Birindelli..

Monza announced on their official website on Sunday that they have extended the contract of its Italian defender Samuele Birindelli.

According to Monza's official statement, Birindelli has signed on a new short-term two-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for a further year.

About Samuele Birindelli

The 26-year-old Samuele Birindelli was born on July 19, 1999, in Pisa, Italy. He is 1.75 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-back, but can also play as a right midfielder, left-back, or left midfielder.

Birindelli joined Pisa's youth academy at a young age and completed his Pisa first-team debut in November 2016 in a Coppa Italia match against Torino.

In July 2022, Birindelli moved to Monza for €1.5 million.

Since joining Monza, Birindelli has so far made 129 appearances for the newly promoted Serie A club in all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists. During which he has helped the club reach the Round of 16s in the Coppa Italia twice.
