Nice have officially appointed Olivier Pantaloni as their head coach, with a two-year contract.

Nice FC has announced the official appointment of French coach Olivier Pantaloni as the first-team head coach, with a two-year agreement in place. For Pantaloni, this stint is a significant return to a familiar club.  

As a player, Olivier Pantaloni received his youth training at Nice and played for the team. Returning to his former club after many years, he will begin a new chapter in his coaching career as the first-team head coach.  

As one of the most experienced coaches in French football, Olivier Pantaloni is known for his professional and rigorous work style, high-standard coaching philosophy, and outstanding team-building abilities. Over many years of coaching, he has accumulated extensive experience and earned widespread recognition in the industry for his consistent team performance.  

Nice president Maurice Cohen said: "We are delighted to welcome Olivier Pantaloni to the team. His extensive coaching experience, deep knowledge, and past achievements demonstrate his outstanding ability to shape the team system, enhance team cohesion, and lead the club's long-term development."

We share the same development direction and hope to build a solid, clear, and sustainable system for Nice. We believe he is fully capable and experienced in leading the club into a new development cycle."  

Speaking about his appointment, Olivier Pantaloni said, "It is a great honor for me to coach a club like Nice. I am very happy and excited to return to the south of France and to the team I used to play for."
