Egoic Muñoz will join Córdoba on loan for the 2026/27 season.

Alavés and Córdoba have reached an agreement for Egoic Muñoz to join Córdoba on loan for the 2026/27 season until the end of the season. As a product of their youth academy, he will continue to gain experience and improve his skills in the Segunda División.  

Egoic Muñoz will embark on a new phase in a more competitive environment, joining Córdoba's overall development plan. The right-back, born in Vitória Gastes, has long been a product of Alavés' youth academy and has consistently performed well as a starter and captain for the B team in the Spanish Second Division for the past three seasons.  

This season, Muñoz made 32 appearances for Alaves B, scoring 5 goals, and also trained with the first team and was included in the matchday squad on several occasions. He also made two appearances in the Copa del Rey against Getso and Tete. This loan will help him continue to develop in a higher level of competition, preparing him for a future return to the Alaves first team.
