Pulisic hopes to participate in the match against Turkey.

Uncle Sam, the United States, will host Turkey at the SoFi Stadium in the third round of Group D in the 2026 World Cup. Pulisic, who plays for AC Milan, expressed his desire to play in this group stage match, but also stated that he has yet to play a full 90 minutes.

Pulisic contributed an assist in the United States' 4-1 victory over Paraguay in the first round of the group stage. However, he was substituted due to injury in the first half of that match, thus missing the second round match against Australia.

27-year-old American winger Pulisic said, "I feel great now. I've rejoined the team in the last few days, so I hope I can contribute in tomorrow's game. Returning immediately after missing a game, it's unlikely to play the full 90 minutes right away under normal circumstances, but we'll see how things go."

"Of course, the emotions are different when you can't play, but I still enjoy being on the sidelines with the team. I hope to be there to support the team and continue to enjoy the World Cup dream. Pulisic said, "I never worried that things would be worse than they are now. I have been working hard to recover, and I was actually very close to being able to participate in the last game, but I still felt a little uncomfortable. But in the first half against Paraguay, I managed to persevere thanks to the adrenaline. However, I never worried that this would be a more serious injury than it actually was."

"Actually, I haven't stopped. I'm training a lot every day. I don't think such a short time will make me lose my match fitness. I'm doing ball control training and various recovery exercises every day. After a few more training sessions, I feel like I'll be fully ready."

In the last round of matches, the United States defeated Australia 2-0 thanks to an own goal forced by Balogun and a goal by Alex Freeman, thus advancing to the World Cup Round of 32 with two consecutive wins.

However, in order to maintain their competitive form, Pochettino's team had no room to relax in the match against Turkey.

Pulisic also stated, "I think everyone in the team is ready to step up, and it's normal for us. Whoever gets the opportunity to play, or whatever decision the coach makes, we will give the same support and encouragement."
